The Roissy-Charles-of-Gaulle airport, in the north of Paris (sometimes Paris-Charles-of-Gaulle, shortened in CDG) is the first French airport.
In a number of passengers, it is located at the second European rank and the eighth world rank. In volume of freight, it is located in the European forefront and the seventh world rank.It is located at 25 km in the North-East of Paris, especially on the commune of Roissy-in-France. It occupies a surface of 3200 hectares, employs 90 000 worker, 700 companies for more than 200 trades distributed in 11 principal branches of industry.
